KymoStudio is free for personal and hobby use from version 2.6.1; commercial use requires a license (installers up to 2.6.0 keep their terms). KymoCore and KymoProbe remain available under GPLv3. Details in the KymoCore licensing terms and on the third-party licenses page.
KymoStudio uses PySide6 and Qt Quick with custom renderers for 2D and 3D charts. The installer contains the license texts and sources of the third-party libraries.
