QUICK START

Your first curve in five minutes.

Install KymoStudio, send data from your board – with or without a library – and connect. No board at hand? The built-in demo needs no hardware.

  1. 1

    Install KymoStudio

    Download the Windows installer, verify its SHA256 checksum and install KymoStudio.

    Download & verify
  2. 2

    Send data

    Path A: print text lines as below. Path B: flash a KymoProbe example or add KymoCore to your project.

  3. 3

    Connect

    Add a serial connection at 115200 baud, 8N1, in the Connections dialog. Formats are detected automatically – drag a signal into a chart and watch.

    No board yet? Start the demo inside KymoStudio.

PATH A · NO LIBRARY

Keep your firmware as it is.

void loop() {
  Serial.printf("temp=%.2f hum=%.1f\n", readTemp(), readHum());
  delay(20);
}

KymoStudio also reads Teleplot (>temp:23.5) and CSV columns (23.5,41). Each name becomes a signal with its own curve label.

Good to know: text lines carry no device time, so reception time applies.

PATH B · WITH KYMOCORE

Flash a ready-made example.

git clone https://github.com/CodeName-666/kymoprobe
cd kymoprobe
pio run -e nodemcu-32s -t upload

Or add KymoCore to your own PlatformIO project:

lib_deps = codename666/KymoCore@^7.1.0
